Auch nach der Shoah und trotz der neuen Israeltheologie, wie sie im Konzilsdokument „Nostra Aetate" aufscheint, finden sich bis heute antijudaistische Denkmuster bei Exegeten des NT.

One of the most objectionable and „lasting" side effects in church history is the „Christian"-motivated anti-Judaism. Beginning in the 2nd century it reached a new level with Martin Luther's inflammatory pamphlet „On the Jews and Their Lies". Even after the Shoah and despite the new theology on Israel, as shown in the Council document „Nostra Aetate", one can still find anti-Judaistic ways of thinking among exegetes of the NT.
