Im Rahmen des Projekts „The Philosophy and Science of Self-Control“ von Al Mele (Florida State University), gefördert durch die John Templeton Foundation, führen Prof. Dr. Godehard Brüntrup SJ und Dr. Ludwig Jaskolla eine Cluster-Initiative mit dem Titel „Varieties of Normative Agency. Self-Control Beyond Will-Power and the Importance of Personal Projects“ durch.

Der Erich-Lejeune-Lehrstuhl für Philosophie und Motivation veranstaltete im Rahmen des interdisziplinären Forschungs-Clusters eine Reihe zu „Autonomie und Selbstkontrolle„.
