Master in Philosophy.

Description of the Programme

The degree program is aimed at all those who wish to acquire advanced analytical, logical-argumentative skills for their future professional career or for an academic career in philosophy or in interdisciplinary research contexts.

The Munich School of Philosophy has always been characterized by the fact that it offers its students a theoretically sound approach to the systematic questions of philosophy.
At the same time, these are also made fruitful for current research questions by engaging with other academic disciplines. The four-semester Master’s degree course in Philosophy builds on this tradition.

The overarching objective of the consecutive Master’s degree course is an initial specialization in a focus of the student’s choice. In-depth modules and the compulsory elective module offer students the opportunity to develop their own individual areas of specialization.
